Provisional Psychologist | Relationship Specialist

Courtney is a provisionally registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds a Master of Professional Psychology from the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Courtney’s career in the health industry began in 2005 with her completion of a Diploma of Remedial Massage. Over the next 11 years, she gained valuable experience in community pharmacy, progressing to management roles. Following this, Courtney transitioned into general practice, where she spent eight years as Chief Operating Officer of two practices. This role deepened her passion for helping individuals and couples achieve their full potential, inspiring her to pursue formal studies in behavioural sciences and psychology.

As a certified relationship therapist specializing in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Courtney provides support to a wide range of couples, including binary, non-binary, and non-monogamous relationships. She also integrates evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) into her practice and is expanding her expertise in Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Courtney works with clients experiencing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. She is committed to creating a safe and affirming therapeutic environment for individuals and couples, including those from LGBTQIA+ communities and diverse relationship structures such as polyamory and non-monogamy.
